Sugar Figs

Sugar figs are the most common flavor profile and what most people think a fig tastes like. These figs are sweet and great for making homemade jelly. Sugar figs can have an amber, brown, or even a purple skin color. Some of the most popular sugar fig varieties include Brown Turkey and Improved Celeste, which can be found in backyards all across the southeastern US. In addition to those two popular varieties, we have GE Neri which makes massive figs and LSU Tiger which is an early and prolific producer.
