BOOST YOUR GARDEN!
When applied to the soil, the beneficial bacteria in BugHut Plant Booster colonize the "rhizosphere," which is the root zone around your plants. The colonization of the beneficial bacteria excludes the presence of harmful, soil-borne pathogens that can infect your plants. This helps to fight common plant diseases likeFusarium,Pythium,Rhizoctonia,Verticillium, and more.
MORE FIG TREES COMING SOON!
We're currently propagating trees that will be available in early 2024. We'll have all the varieties currently listed on our site plus some new varieties. Stay tuned for updates as new varieties are added!
-
BERRY FIGS
GET BERRY FIG TREESBerry figs have more of a tart flavor as opposed to just being sweet. These figs can have hints of strawberry or raspberry and are absolutely delicious! Berry figs can have a dark purple skin or a green skin, depending on the variety.
-
HONEY FIGS
GET HONEY FIG TREESHoney figs are some of the best for eating fresh off the tree. These sweet figs can have hints of honey and agave and are extremely refreshing on a warm summer day. Honey figs will usually have a yellow to green skin color.
-
SUGAR FIGS
GET SUGAR FIG TREESSugar figs are the most common flavor profile and what most people think a fig tastes like. These figs are sweet and great for making homemade jelly. Sugar figs can have an amber, brown, or even a purple skin color.

CAN YOU GROW FIGS?
Fig trees perform best in states with mild winters, but they are somewhat cold-tolerant. Established fig trees can handle temperatures between 15-20°F, as long as those temperatures are not sustained for several days.
If you live in an area with winter temps of 15°F or below, we recommend covering the trees with frost protection fabric in the winter months.
You can also grow fig trees in large pots and move them indoors during the winter. Many of our northern customers do this and it's a great way to ensure they can still enjoy delicious figs in the summer months!
GROWN IN OUR OWN ORCHARD
All our fig trees are propagated and grown with cuttings from our own orchard here in south Georgia. We take special care to ensure that all our fig trees are healthy and have an established root system prior to shipping. Each tree in our fig orchard and greenhouse is labeled so we can ensure that every tree we ship is true to variety.
