Honey figs are some of the best for eating fresh off the tree. These sweet figs can have hints of honey and agave and are extremely refreshing on a warm summer day. Honey figs will usually have a yellow to green skin color. LSU Gold is great honey fig variety that makes large figs. It is one of the earliest and most prolific varieties in our orchard. White Marseilles is a fast-growing honey fig variety and is reported to be more cold tolerant.
