BugHut Plant Booster is a 16 oz concentration of beneficial bacteria that will protect your plants against harmful pathogens and release growth-promoting compounds. It contains three beneficial bacteria that are classified as PGPRs (Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria). This eco-friendly and pollinator-friendly formula contains no harsh chemicals and is safe to use around kids and pets.

When applied to the soil, the beneficial bacteria in BugHut Plant Booster colonize the "rhizosphere," which is the root zone around your plants. The colonization of the beneficial bacteria excludes the presence of harmful, soil-borne pathogens that can infect your plants. This helps to fight common plant diseases like Fusarium, Pythium, Rhizoctonia, Verticillium, and more.

When used as a foliar spray, BugHut Plant Booster can reduce the presence of fungal diseases that affect plant leaves. It helps to minimize damage from common fungal diseases like rust, powdery mildew, downy mildew, and more. The beneficial bacteria colonize on the leaf surface, reducing the presence of harmful fungi and bacteria.

These bacteria also produce compounds to improve the uptake of certain nutrients and improve plant growth. They help to solubilize phosphorous and make it available for plant uptake. They also enhance nitrogen fixation in legumes and increase the overall stress tolerance of plants in your garden.

BugHut Plant Booster Includes:

Bacillus amyloliquefaciens
Bacillus subtilis
Bacillus pumilis

Protect Your Garden the Natural Way with BugHut

Keeping your garden healthy doesn't have to mean reaching for harsh synthetic chemicals. BugHut's lineup of natural pest and disease control products harnesses the power of beneficial bacteria and plant-based oils to protect your plants from the ground up, defending roots and soil from harmful pathogens, controlling fungal and bacterial disease, and repelling common garden pests, all while staying gentle on beneficial insects, wildlife, and the broader garden ecosystem. Here's a closer look at how each product works.

Promoting Healthy Plant Growth

Promoting Healthy Plant Growth

BugHut Plant Booster includes three Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) that protect plants against pathogens, enhance plant growth, and establish beneficial plant-microbe interactions in the soil.

These beneficial bacteria fight soil-borne pathogens by colonizing the root zone and outcompeting the "bad guys." They can also help reduce the presence of foliar diseases when applied to the plant leaves.

Additionally, these bacteria produce a wide range of compounds to stimulate plant growth. These compounds help plants solubilize phosphorous, enhance nitrogen fixation, and improve the stress tolerance of plants.

The Power of Thyme Oil

The Power of Thyme Oil

As the active ingredient in BugHut Fungicide, thyme oil contains compounds that have potent antimicrobial properties. When applied to plants, thyme oil can help control fungal, bacterial, and viral diseases by inhibiting the growth and spread of pathogens.

Thyme oil is also known for its insecticidal properties. It can repel and even kill various garden pests, including aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, and mosquitoes. The strong scent of thyme oil is particularly effective in deterring insects from feeding on plants.

Unlike synthetic pesticides and fungicides, thyme oil is biodegradable and less harmful to beneficial insects, birds, and other wildlife in the garden. It can be an environmentally friendly alternative for gardeners seeking to minimize their impact on the ecosystem.

The Power of Garlic Oil

The Power of Garlic Oil

As the active ingredient in BugHut Insecticide, garlic oil emits a strong odor that repels many garden pests. Insects such as aphids, cabbage loopers, spider mites, and whiteflies are often deterred by the scent of garlic oil, which makes it less likely for them to feed on plants.

Garlic oil contains sulfur compounds which can disrupt the feeding and reproductive cycles of certain pests. This can prevent infestations from becoming established and reduce damage to plants over time. It also acts as an "antifeedant," meaning it discourages pests from feeding on treated plant tissue.

Similar to thyme oil, garlic oil also possesses antimicrobial properties due to compounds like allicin. This can help control fungal and bacterial diseases in the garden, indirectly protecting plants from pests that are attracted to weakened or diseased foliage.
